Dr. Felix Thuerwaechter is founder and managing director of STG CropCare. After studying agricultural sciences in Göttingen, Germany, Felix spent the past 30 years working in various management positions in the crop protection industry. In addition to traditional crop protection, he was most recently involved in the development and market launch of biostimulants.

Felix has an extensive knowledge of crop protection research and development, a deep understanding of markets and business development, registration and product development requirements, as well as building sales teams in Latin America, the U.S. and the EU 27. Over the years, he has built many international collaborations and has a global network.

Today, Felix uses his wealth of experience as an independent consultant to help companies successfully develop their own businesses.

Vita:

Dr. Felix Thuerwaechter studied and received his doctorate in agricultural sciences at the Georg-August University in Göttingen. Felix started his career with a five-year assignment at the Federal Research Institute for Agriculture in Germany (formerly known as BBA) and then joined AgrEvo/Aventis CropScience for the next five years in global herbicide research.

He then spent 16 years with Helm AG in Germany, where he was responsible for global business development in crop protection. Until the founding of STG CropCare in 2020, he was managing director of Jebagro, a division of the Hamburg-based Jebsen and Jessen Group.
