The availability of conventional crop protection products is already limited and will face further restrictions in the coming years. The way fertilizers are applied will also change.
Farmers are looking for new solutions to safeguard their crop yields. Biostimulants are already introduced used with success. To date the most important markets are South- and SouthEast Europe, with a focus on specialty crops, fruits and vegetables.
Against this background, STG CropCare is developing own biostimulants for row crops in Germany. Expansion to other maritime countries in Europe is planned.

Our Approach
Building confidence in the efficacy of biostimulants is done through meaningful data from field trials.
STG CropCare focuses only on few products for the development of biostimulants and currently only on amino acid based products. With these products, we generate data in small- and large-scale field trials, at different locations and with different crop varieties. In this way, we analyze under which conditions these products work, but also under which conditions they do not work.
STG CropCare provides growers, extension service and distributors with reliable data that demonstrates the performance of biostimulants and encourages them to use biostimulants to successfully protect their crop yields.
